1 Corinthians 12:14-18
Every single part of the body of Christ has a purpose. No one part is more important than the others. All are vital in the work of the ministry. One or more parts may be visible, but those unseen parts keep the whole thing going. I have been seeing up close and personal these last few months that all parts of the body are useful even in roles they aren’t normally filling. Older folks standing in the gap, some with physical handicaps and limitations, young people stepping it up a notch. All playing a part and getting the job done. I’ m specifically talking about the building project for Victory Springs Ind Baptist Church. Our family has been working on this project for a little over four years. This month so much has been done and the end of building is near.
These are just a few of the tasks that have been completed to date: Install gutter drains connected to the retention ponds, install auditorium carpet, install laminate flooring in the foyer and on the platform, install the toilet stalls. The site work with grading and drainage and pavement is all completed. The inside of the building is very close to being done, too. We had a walk through with the building official a couple days ago and he says we are looking good toward a final inspection this coming week. The church needs the certificate of occupancy to have the first service planned for September 20th. Please be in prayer that the rest of the items left will be completed and we get all passing inspections and issuance of the CO. Thank you each and every one for your faithfulness helping us to help others.

For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing?
