Mortensons In March 2025
March 2025
Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers and encouragement. We count it a very real privilege to serve the Lord with you all as our partners in prayer. God is good.
It is springtime here, and that means the dry season with limited weather cancelations for Bible clubs. The kids that we minister to were very excited to see that we were coming back after our regular break during the rainy season. Please pray for these kids and their understanding of the Gospel. Our desire is that they would all trust Christ as their Savior, and that through this ministry to children we would also be able to reach their families.
Thank you for praying for our preparation for the Medical Missions Outreach surgical team. Last week, we were able to get supplies that were shipped down all the way through the customs process after only about a one-week processing time. We are so thankful for the smoothness that this shipment represented. The team of medical providers arrived yesterday. Today we are doing the pre-op consultations with the surgeon, as well as getting the team familiarized with all of the aspects of the clinic. Many on the medical team this week are returning team members so that makes things a little smoother. Starting on Monday morning through Thursday afternoon, we hope to help about 15 patients both physically and spiritually. Please be praying with us that the Lord would bless every aspect of the surgical week and that He would specifically work in the hearts of the patients.

PRAYER REQUESTS
- Please pray for the MMO surgical week. May God use the open door of medicine to reach each patient with the message of the Gospel.
- Please continue to pray for our residency process. We are hoping that the pause for paperwork last fall will not hold us back too much and that we will have our new visas within the next month.
- Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes.
