Ephesians 3:20-21
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Jesus Christ throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

As we reflect on what we call Thanksgiving we have to give credit where it is due. We know how frail we are in and of ourselves and know our limits and capabilities. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is not short on power or ability. All power has been given unto him and he is able to do what we cannot. I cannot, but he can, and it does not matter what it is. We have asked for many big things and have taken on many big tasks way out of our comfort zone and pay grade but have also seen the miraculous done over and over and have to proclaim, “Glory to God!!!”

In November we continued helping with disaster relief and storm clean up from the 3 hurricanes our area had back-to-back. We were able to deliver relief supplies to two communities that got hit the hardest on a weekly basis. We traveled to South Florida, returning the 24 borrowed generators and were able to do interviews and show videos with two pastors that need some additional help and funds for their churches’ recoveries. Some large donations came in to Operation Renewed Hope dedicated for disaster relief and we were asked to locate churches and individuals in Florida with ongoing needs to help their recovery. Several churches and individuals in 5 different towns received funds so far. It was such a blessing to take part in those efforts and see the Lord work in these situations. Remember, he is able.

We had the privilege to fill in at Friendship Baptist in Perry, Florida for a whole Sunday for Pastor Nowell. We enjoyed our time there and got to share God's word a couple of times and the kids got to sing with the choir, too. We also went to Victory Baptist in Perry, Florida and got to present Sister Blue with relief funds from ORFI and then preach the morning service. Afterword we met on site with the church leaders to look at the details of their new parsonage build. Their plans and associated paperwork are complete and next the permit will be applied for. Victory Springs Baptist in High Springs, Florida is getting the roof installed on the drive through entrance right now and next comes the interior metal stud framing. Vision Baptist in Crestview, Florida has all their plans and documents turned in to the building department and is waiting for the permit to be issued. The sub-contractors are being selected and some site work is going on in preparation for the foundation. There is a little progress on our barn house. The slab and porches were poured and the metal building installer is scheduled. We hope to begin the interior framing by the end of December. The church in Horseshoe Beach, Florida has not made any decisions yet on whether to repair their church and parsonage or to demolish them so we are on hold there for now.

We traveled to Pensacola, Florida for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time with our family there. We got to work on Moms house a little, too, repairing some termite damage and cleaning the outside up good. While in town we got to attend services at Gulf Coast Baptist, our sending church. It was so good to see the brethren and many that we served alongside for 16 plus years. We miss it there and it is always bitter sweet to visit and then leave, but also know well we serve where we are sent as soldiers in the Lord's army. Kevin turned 55 today and is still growing and going and, hey – now we can order off the senior menu, ha-ha.

Thank you all so much for your faithfulness in love and prayers and partnering!!!

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
