Psalm 127:1
I’ve changed my prayer not too long ago from Lord help me to do thy will and thy work to Lord let me help you to do your will and your work. The work is not mine but his. The ministry as a whole is his and he will get it done as he has through the ages with or without me and often in spite of me. My part is to be submitted to him and do as he leads and directs. As also said in John 15:5, “…for without me ye can do nothing.” And why would I want to? God let us do your work your way for your glory and the furtherance of your gospel!!!
On October 4th, Victory Springs Independent Baptist Church had their grand opening of the new building. It was a great day in all ways and a record attendance of 236. Several trusted Christ as Savior at the invitation and several were baptized and added unto the church. The labors of the last 4-1/2 years were not in vain. For the rest of October several more were saved and baptized, too. The church seems to be experiencing revival and pray this will spread throughout this Jerusalem and to other areas.
We traveled to Pensacola, FL to be in a missions conference at Grace Baptist Church. They partnered with us in 2019 and it had been a while since we were able to be with them. The conference was going well and then canceled after 2 days due to Hurricane Isaias. We rode out the storm with family and after it passed went to work assessing the damage and sending reports to disaster relief partners. We traveled in our small SUV for the conference and had no tools or supplies to be of much help except relay information as boots on the ground. We were able to coordinate some teams of helpers and point them in the direction of the needy. We headed home for a couple of days to take care of things there and then Jon and I went back to Pensacola and helped several churches including Gulf Coast Baptist, our sending church, and individuals cut trees off of buildings and entrances and driveways. We really enjoyed serving alongside the men and catching up on the latest church events while laboring.
We had been asking for prayer to get a heavy-duty truck for hauling and transporting supplies and equipment. Last week the Lord provided a new to us 2013 3500HD truck with low miles that will do everything we need. We already have 2 supply deliveries to make with it asap and are gathering the rest of the needed supplies and getting them on pallets and shrink wrapped. One load will be taken to Miami and shipped to Jamaica for church planter, Oral Anderson. The other will be taken to Sarasota to be forwarded to a mission work in Cuba.
The parsonage project in Perry, FL is getting close to being done. The trades have finished installing the fixtures and the interior finishes are coming together. Should not be long now to move the Pastor in and save Training Center International Page 3 of 7 November 3, 2026 him 3 hrs of driving per day. Grace Bible Baptist is moving forward again. We were able to get the building permit re-instated and a new electrician has taken over that part and getting it going. There are some new challenges to overcome and some funds still needed so please be praying with us on those. We have not made a decision whether to help a new church plant in Orlando with their build yet but are helping them get their budget put together so they have the numbers to go to the bank with. They plan to get a construction loan and get it built quick. Our warehouse is slow go. Too many other things come up and funds trickle in so we do what we can as we have time. It looks like hurricane season is about over this year so we have a little more time to get it all closed in.
Jon helped big time in the tree removal and gathering and packaging the supplies. He is scheduled to preach the next 2 Sundays in children church as the Pastor’s family will be on vacation. He is getting an early start at 13 and stepping up and stepping in as opportunities open. Bethany turned 19 and continues to watch babies and help shut-ins with chores and help her mom and I with whatever we ask of her. She is on track to finish her 3 year bible institute classes mid Dec and graduate. She is open to what the Lord has for her next. Thank you all for your faithfulness to stand with us as we serve our Lord and his church.

Psalm 127:1
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
