Valbuenas' Thanks and Latest News
February 2026
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We want to thank everyone for your continued prayers and support for the ministry and for Rodrigo "Odek’s" health. Praise the Lord — his surgery went well! Please continue to pray that all traces of cancer are gone. His urologist has asked him to take a follow-up PSA test in three months. We are trusting God that it will remain below 0.20 so that no radiation follow-up will be needed.
Tomorrow, we will be taking our long flight back to the Philippines. Though we are saddened that we won’t be able to see the children at the home this time, we are encouraged knowing the work continues and many lives are being touched through the ministry.
This coming March, we are preparing for our Annual Old-Fashioned Camp Meeting, and we thank the Lord for the opportunity to gather once again. Our guest speaker will be Pastor Rick Aldridge from First Baptist Church of Conestee, SC. He will also be hosting our first-ever Pastor & Missionary Kid Conference, which we are very excited about!
In April, we will celebrate our Church Anniversary, followed by our Mission Conference. Our longtime friend and supporter, Bro. Johnny Riley from Groveton, TX, will be our main speaker for these special events.
Looking ahead to November, we are thrilled about our upcoming Youth Camp. Last year, we had over 200 young people in attendance, with many making professions of faith and surrendering to ministry. We pray this year will be even greater!
The Bible school is also growing, with many new students preparing to serve the Lord.
We’re also in talks with Evangelist Paul Schwanke from Arizona for a December Revival Meeting. The Lord is truly opening doors for more souls to be reached!
Please continue to pray for our various ministries — the Jail, Police, and School ministries, the Saturday Feeding Ministry, Church Planting, the AMAGOH Sports Ministry, the Back-to-School Bash, and many other evangelistic outreaches.
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us in prayer and support. We are truly excited about what the Lord has in store for the days ahead!
