Luke 5:5
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

It does not matter what our Lord asks us to do, our answer should always be,
“I will.” Go here or there and do this or that, I will. Dig in the dirt, cut the grass, clean the buildings, teach or preach, I will. Our will ought to be lined up with His will. Our desire ought to do those things He asks of us for His good pleasure and glory and to point others to Him. Nothing beats serving the Lord and doing His kingdom work.

July was busy and productive. We got the forms boards all in for the warehouse and the concrete guys came in and got it poured and finished. After a couple days to cure we stained some and painted the rest. We have some funds in hand to get the walls started and will have to raise more funds to get the windows and doors and siding. It will be nice to have a dedicated place close by for disaster relief and the various types of training we offer.

The training center was pretty busy, too. We had an unusual request from a family asking us to train them before their new baby arrived. That was such a blessing to help them prepare and have confidence, as new parents, to have some knowledge in first aid/CPR/AED. We traveled to Brunswick, Ga and taught first aid/CPR/AED to 12 aviation students with Wings of Grace Ministries. Many of these young people are already committed to being missionaries and missionary pilots and this training gives them some extra tools in their toolbox. We received our instructor certification through HBI curriculum for the 7th year. This is the curriculum we use for the vocational side of the training we offer. One brother in Mississippi also received his instructor certification at location #2.

We have been able to squeeze a few other things in this month but most of our time has been working on Victory Springs Ind Baptist Church’s new building. There are only about 6 weeks left of time to be substantially complete. Much has been done lately and many of the church members have jumped in and helped where possible. Cutting grass and weed eating, hanging and finishing of the last pieces of drywall, puttying and caulking and painting the trim work and interior doors, grouting saw cuts in the concrete, installing sound and security wiring, installing flooring, and digging in the dirt installing drainage. The site contractor has installed the storm sewer piping and begun bringing in the fill dirt and establishing the finished grade on the parking and paved areas. The church is super excited as are we. This has been a 7 plus year project for them and they are ready for a permanent place to meet and reach out from. There are still a few details that need working out, and all involved need to do their parts, and in the time we have left. Pray with VSIBC that the building is finished on time and that the church continues to be the light in this community.

Thank you all for the prayers and support for these 8 plus years of serving our Lord full time when and where he leads.
