Acts 1:8
The mission in a nutshell. Take the gospel that we have received and GO proclaim it to the lost in every corner of the world. Whatever we are doing in ministry must not just include this mandate but make this part the priority and main focus. The rest somewhere down the line wherever it fits in.
May was super busy in several different areas. A lot of progress was made at Victory Springs Ind Baptist church in High Springs, FL. All of the bathroom stalls were delivered. We got all of the inspections necessary to turn on the temporary power. We turned on some of the ACs and lighting. We began cleaning/prepping the concrete for the flooring. All the windows and doors have been cleaned in preparation for the trim work and returns.
In our family we celebrated Jon’s 13th birthday. Bethany spent a lot of time preparing for her 10 weeks of being on staff at Venture of Faith Camp. She will be on the service team and help with the girl interns. She is all settled in and already working in many areas. We had the privilege to share the gospel with my Aunt Sue and upon her profession of faith were able to baptize her and my Mom. We also had the opportunity to share the gospel with many of our family members and explain that baptism is not a means of salvation but identification.
We are in Lineville, AL at the Who Will Go and Beyond Borders camps. We are on a team of several missionaries and churches providing practical skills training for over 100 young people. So far we have been involved in certifying the staff and interns in CPR/first aid/AED. We have taught stop the bleed classes, primitive camp set up classes, build the bridge classes/carpentry, and working with the young people in preparing to self-sustain off grid. Sonya has plugged in with the ladies and has been able to help in the kitchen and with the canteen snack shack after evening services. In the services several young people have surrendered to full time service so far. We have thoroughly enjoyed this investment and have been able to play camp medic tending to heat exhaustion, rashes, bites, scrapes, and ambulance transporting one young lady to the ER when she got a bad sprain. Tonight we will take a small group of young people into the woods and leave them there for several days to self-sustain in whatever conditions nature and a few men throw at them. Some places in the world that the gospel needs to go to do not have 5G network and Holiday Inn. These young people will put to practice what they have learned in a real but controlled environment. Fun times for sure.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and partnerships. The investment you make flows through us to other areas of ministry and continues to multiply.
In Christ,

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
