Ephesians 4:11-12
There are some that have these titles and work in these vocations. They cannot do everything that needs doing in God’s kingdom work. Then there are the rest of us, the called-out believers in the Lord Jesus Christ; all of us given gifts and abilities at salvation, each differing and valuable to come alongside the others for the growing up and building up of the church and the work necessary to get it done. Together we can do the going, the winning, the training, and the sending. There is nothing greater.
We were able to travel to Indiana for a few days to visit with Sonya’s parents and siblings. It had been almost 1-1/2 years since our last visit and this one was overdue. We had a great time catching up and had a combination Thanksgiving and Christmas with them. It snowed almost the whole time there so lots of sitting around fellowshipping and watching kids out the window sledding and building snowmen. On our way home from Indiana we stopped in Hiram, Georgia to spend a few days with Who Will Go ministries and Ridge Rd Baptist and Wayside Baptist. We got to train in active shooter response, church security, and CPR/first aid/AED. One of the Who Will Go staff received his instructor certification with Training Center of North Florida - us. Now we have 4 instructors in various locations. We also got to do a ministry presentation in both churches. We look forward to working with these folks in the near future with ongoing training.
The church building projects are moving along. Victory Springs, Indiana Baptist had sheetrock and insulation delivered. We started hanging the sheetrock a couple of days ago. The fire sprinkler man is scheduled to start installing the piping and our church men are trickling in and out as they can helping with their labor. Many hands make light work. Victory Baptist in Perry, FL had the rest of the windows and doors come in and we installed them. We continue to frame the interior walls as we juggle a few other things. Vision Baptist in Crestview has made a lot of progress and is getting real close to being done. Grace Bible Baptist in Pensacola was able to raise some more funds and will get a few more things done in the coming weeks. They, too, are close to start the drywall hanging. These buildings are not the church but are a place for the church to assemble and worship and receive training and then be sent out of to go preach the gospel to every creature.
We are in close contact with the churches we helped in Jamaica. The needs are still great from the hurricane. The news and most relief organizations have moved on but we want to help all that we can ongoing. We are working to obtain a shipping container to fill with needed supplies then send it right away and possibly go again in person to help with the process of dividing and distributing. We will be asking those that are able to help with the different needs as they are known. We thank God for allowing us to serve him in many capacities and zip codes.
We thank you all for your prayers and love and support going on 27 years of total service and 8 years full time all in. To God be the glory for the great things he has done and is doing.
In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy

Ephesians 4:11-12
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
