Mortensons Begin 2026

Dear Family and Friends,
Happy New Year! I am pretty sure that I have been saying this for several years (I think that makes me “old?”), but I can’t believe how fast we flew through 2025. We enjoyed a fun Christmas, and are very thankful that Mykenzie was able to visit for 6 days. She is doing very well in Florida and continuing to mature into a beautiful young woman.
As we jump into 2026, I am reminded of the continuing opportunities and the privilege of serving with Team Honduras. We are excited to be getting back to weekend Bible clubs after our normal break for the rainy season. We are also excited about ministry opportunities through the church as well as through our partner ministries of Medical Missions Outreach and Hope Children’s Home. And we anticipate that God will continue to be our strength and guide. Every year Pastor Matt Goins selects a theme for the church and this year’s theme is: Christ, our Rock. Our prayer is that through Christ as our firm foundation, we will grow both numerically and spiritually in 2026. We pray the same for you all as well.

- Please continue to pray for God’s guidance for Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult.
