Titus 3:8
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

What things? Being gentle and showing kindness to all men. Remember we started where they are – lost and on our way to hell without Jesus Christ. Nothing worthy in and of ourselves for salvation but only by God’s mercy were we forgiven and saved. Now being justified by His grace we can be witnesses and an examples of our Lord. Men see this in us and they can have the same thing, as we become doers of the Word, AND share the gospel with them. Live it and share it.

We started out February in Pensacola, Florida area. We updated three of our supporting churches and were able to get our tax info to our accountant. We also got to be part of Mom’s 70th birthday celebration. We packed up everything in a small U-Haul trailer and headed to north central Florida. Our household belongings and Jeep arrived on the 8th and we met the movers at a storage facility. We had a temporary house to stay in so we started looking for a church in the area. With the help of a couple of evangelists and some other brethren we were given the name of a church. We visited the church and believe it is the place for us to serve in and base our ongoing work out of. We are now house hunting and want to be within a reasonable drive from the church. This area is very popular for people wanting to come so properties go quickly and are expensive. We believe God wants us here and are confident He will provide us a house as He has many other times. With God it is possible even in this market.

We are already working with Caribbean Partnership Missions. We spend a lot of time planning and developing the inner workings of who and what. Kevin went to Birmingham for 3 days to get certified as an instructor for Basic Life Support and also- AVERT-an active shooter response course. We will add those to the emergency management training that CPM will provide to local churches in the Caribbean Islands and the gulf coast states. Train before the disaster, respond and provide relief afterwards. At the end of the month we go for a 3-day FEMA CERT course. This will allow us to establish teams of men out of the local churches. Many men don’t preach or teach or sing in the choir but there are plenty of other ways to serve God and our community and especially in times of disaster or crisis. These men can be the hands and feet, and help the hurting in their time of need.

Nothing has changed with the McCoys other than our zip code. We are still independent missionaries totally supported by you, our partners. We do not have a job or a staff position with a salary or any other source of income. God provides and meets our needs completely through you. We are with the same mission agency and have the same sending church. We still have the training center in Costa Rica and will continue to be a part of that as the president/administrator and an instructor. Now as we join the CPM team we will bring our tools and add them to their toolbox. The gospel is the top priority, and then training men in vocational skills and many other areas secondary and on down the line.

In this new team effort there is a church plant in New Jerusalem Dominican Republic under construction, Iglesia Bautista Fundamental Solidaridad. The property is bought. The block structure is standing and just this week the concrete floor was poured. Because building materials have almost doubled in price the tube steel roof structure and metal roofing, and windows and doors will have to wait until more funds can be raised. Our hearts desire is to complete those things before this coming hurricane season. We need roughly $10K to buy the materials and will self-perform most of the labor. If God leads you to help with this project please message me and I can give you more of the details.

Thank you all for your faithfulness and prayers. We want to keep up our momentum and be used up for God’s glory.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany and Jon McCoy
