1Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

We have so much to be thankful for. We have been in Costa Rica now almost 6 weeks. We are mostly unpacked and settled in our house. We are finding our way around and learning where to get what. Fellow missionaries, Pastor and Mrs. Dove have been a huge help and blessing to us in more ways then we can describe.

A brief word from Sonya: After 2 years of not having our own place it has been nice to finally settle. We were able to buy needed furniture and appliances. We are slowly getting into somewhat of a routine. The kids are so happy to have their own rooms and to see their stuff again. Bethany loves to play her keyboard and Jon spends most of his day outside and muddy. We have been able to get the kitchen fairly stocked. We had some trouble with the washing machine at first but got it worked out. It is nice to hang out the laundry to dry most days. The kids and I help clean the church every week and help set up for breakfast and coffee.

Some highlights of this month. Bethany turned 13 on Nov.1st. We sang special music for the 1st time. We finally got our Internet hooked up so no more 3G. Kevin gets to do an online devotional every Thursday. We visited another missionary who grew up here and spent the day talking ministry and fellowshipping. We picked up the motorcycle we bought last year after selling our car. We had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with 2 other missionary couples.

We got a lot of bad weather from Hurricane Eta. We saw over 100 inches of rain in 4 days. Some areas here almost completely washed away. We were able to visit 2 areas and assist Operation Renewed Hope in meeting needs with relief supplies and church repairs.

We have not seen anyone saved yet. We do have 3 individuals we are witnessing to and loving on. Please pray for Adolfo, Alonso, and Laura.

Many have asked how our support is in the Covid days. This month we were at 67%. It has fluctuated at times but this is the 2nd lowest in over 2 years. God always makes up the difference somehow and we are not shaken.

Thank you all for your prayers, texts, e-mails, and phone calls. We want to be where God is working and play some small part in it.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
