- For God to give us understanding of the Spanish language and that He would help us to be clear as we minister in Spanish.
- For the Lord to continue to grow the unity of our team and church family.
- Praise the Lord for the 250 people that were presented the gospel through the Living Nativity.
Friends and Family,
Happy New Year from Honduras! We still cannot believe that 2019 has come and gone. It is amazing how fast time flies, yet we are excited about the opportunities 2020 will bring.
December was a busy month for us, and full of the Lord’s blessings as we focused on celebrating Jesus’ birth. Thank you to all who prayed for our Living Nativity on December 13th and 14th. It was exciting to present the gospel in drama as a church family. Both nights were well attended and a little over 250 people combined came through to watch the drama. This year we were able to present 8 different scenes from the life of Christ. Our prayer is that the seeds that were planted will produce fruit in the year to come.
Throughout the month we also enjoyed great fellowship with our missionary friends and friends from church. We feel so blessed to be serving the Lord here in Honduras, and to have such wonderful friends with whom to celebrate special days.
As we jump into January, Cori and the kids are back at homeschool and we are all enjoying the more normal routine. Cori and I are continuing weekly discipleship and the Saturday morning Bible Club. We are also teaching the Wednesday night 6-9 year old class of our Soldados del Senor program. This program has an emphasis in scripture memorization for the kids. Both of us are excited for the opportunity to continue growing our Spanish speaking abilities through teaching the class, but I think Blake is the most excited to have us in class with him. Please continue to pray that through all of the opportunities to practice we will continue to steadily improve our Spanish and minister more effectively.
Thank you again for your faithful partnership with us in prayer and financial support.
Nate and Cori,
with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake, and Savanna
