Dear Family and Friends,
We hope that you are well, and want to say thank you for your prayers for us over the past month. God has been good as He always is. With all that is happening in the world it is very easy to lose track of days and before you know it another month has come and gone like a blur. We are thankful for the Lord’s blessing and strength in these busy days.
One of the exciting developments this month has to do with our Bible club on Saturdays. We have been ministering in the neighborhood behind our church for over 2 years now and while we have a faithful group of about 25 kids who attend every week, only 3 attend our church services. Regularly we invite them to visit the church, but they have only come once for our living nativity 2 years ago. Needless to say it was a great surprise and joy when a group of them showed up last Sunday. We found out after church that one the kids went to a neighbor’s house (one of the faithful members at our church) and proudly told them that they wanted to ride the bus to church because they were specifically invited by “the Gringos” (as if they had special tickets to attend 😃). We continue to be thankful for the opportunity to have Bible club with them. We also pray that they continue coming to church and continue to grow in their understanding of the Bible, eventually putting their faith in Christ.
Please be praying with us that God would continue to give us strength and health. I asked prayer last month specifically for Cori’s asthma. While she has seen some small improvements, she is still struggling with this persistent flare up. Our doctor friend has recommended a temporary switch to a stronger medication, but we still have not seen drastic improvement. So, please continue praying for grace and healing. Thank you again for your faithful prayers.
- For the Lord to help us continue to grow in our Spanish speaking abilities, and to be better able to minister for Him.
- For continued spiritual growth in our church family.
- For wisdom as we continue discipleship with a couple in our church.
- For the Lord to touch Cori’s health, specifically her asthma.
