Greetings from Peru.
Three missions’ trips and a move have kept us busy the past months. In July we had four people from one of our supporting churches visit us. We were able to take them to visit several of the places where we had gone with our school during our big evangelistic outreach. They visited two children’s homes and also were able to help serve breakfast to children at a new little church.
In an economy that is booming like it is in Peru right now it is hard to find affordable housing, but God provided an apartment for us to move to at a decent price. The first team came right before we were to move so they were able to help us fix some things in preparation for the move. We appreciate their help and encouragement.
Janise, our oldest, went with a group of MK’s and teachers on a missions’ trip to the mountain jungle. They were able to get into many schools and churches to share the Gospel. It was a great experience for Janise.
In August we had a team of university students come down for a week. I was able to go with them to Cañete to work with one of our Peruvian missionaries. We went to four different towns and were able to present the Gospel to children and adults. During one of the church services 8-10 people made a decision to accept Christ as their Savior. We really enjoyed having this team here as well (and are still enjoying the 19 jars of peanut butter, pie filling and green chilies that they brought us!).
If you would like to come visit us, just let us know!
Thank you for your prayers and support,
Rick and Kathy Anderson
