The Mortenson Family

March 2018

Dear Family and Friends,

This past month has been full of so many blessings. Thank you for your faithful support and prayers. God has provided health and everyone is back to normal after each of the kids battled mild flu symptoms. God has also supplied safety on the roads through the winter weather.

God continues to supply our support and we are excited to let you all know that we are at 76%! One of the greatest blessings of being on deputation is seeing God work in amazing ways.

Back in December, we received an email from a missionary in Papua New Guinea who explained that he was teaching his church that they, too, needed to be a part of supporting missions. He asked me to email him some information about the ministry the Lord has called us to. Upon reviewing our BIMI account this month we discovered that the church had sent in support! Our God is so big that a task that seems impossible to us (raising our support) is nothing to Him!

Please be praying for us over this coming month as we will be traveling and presenting in churches starting in Florida, then Louisiana, on to Kansas, back to Florida, up to Georgia, then back to Alabama, and Louisiana. As we near the end of deputation we are excited to see the Lord not only supplying the strength to keep pressing on through a busy schedule, but also providing opportunities to share the Gospel. Our prayer is that the Lord would continue to use us to be an encouragement to Christians and churches and reach people even while we are on the road.

At the beginning of last month we started the process of gathering documents needed to establish our residency in Honduras. All of our US documents had to be sent to the agency of origin so they could be authenticated. We are still waiting on some of them to come back. The authentication process here is just a small glimpse into the future as we prepare to make Honduras our home.

Thank you again for your faithful support and prayers.

In Christ,
Nate and Cori, with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake, and Savanna
